Band Night

In September we had a band night at the Gardener’s Arms in Morley to raise money for People Matters! It was a brilliant night despite the wet weather with lots of dancing and singing along to the fantastic performances.
We’re so lucky to have some wonderful members who helped make this event happen. The Gardeners Arms offered to host the event as it is owned by Billy’s parents who used to attend our employment service and social groups- Billy actually got a job through attending our employment provision. Thanks so much to the Gardener’s Arms for this.
Our bands were Sky Fallers and JamJ. Our social groups (and previously outreach) member Megan is one of the Sky Fallers singers, and our outreach member Arthur is in JamJ. They, and their other bandmates, are hugely talented and we’re so grateful that they agreed to perform for us.
We were also lucky enough to have another social groups member Alex providing the tech support on the night. Thanks so much Alex!
Through the band night and raffles, we raised almost £600! We’ve agreed that we’ll make this an annual event but will book it in for the Summer next time
